Graffiti in the Ruins Dec 2019
At the end of 2019, I went on a "Graffiti Tour" with a few friends from Jingzhou, Hubei to Zhengzhou, Henan.
"Miraculous"
Near the ruins that we graffitied, we found a original handwriting of an old scavenger.
When leaving Zhengzhou, we saw an overturned car by the roadside.
Li Xiangwei asks, "Why must the city trade the countryside for the elixir of eternal youth?" inspired by Lo Ta-yu's "Youth Dance 2000," which questions, "Why does the city need the miraculous youth-preserving elixir?"
Wu Junhao then adds, "What about all of us?" Henan, being one of China's most populous provinces, raises the question of whether urbanization has indeed improved people's lives as much as expected.
“I don't know much.”
From the song “Memories of Zhengzhou” by Li Zhi “I don't know much about Zhengzhou.”
"Let me hug you again."
From "Memories of Zhengzhou" by Li Zhi "Let me hug you again, Zhengzhou."
"Legendary city, ecological home, I'm waiting for you in Zhumadian. Propaganda by Wu Junhao"
On the streets of Zhengzhou, I imitated the official tone and aesthetic style to promote tourism advertisements for Zhumadian City with my real names.
